SBA Celebrates Women’s History Month in March and offers Virtual Entrepreneurship Webinars

SBA Celebrates Women's History Month

Whether you’re a maker or creator, involved in tech, or pursuing your passion delivering a product or service, SBA can help entrepreneurs start and grow. In celebration of Women’s History Month, we welcome everyone to join our virtual Entrepreneurship webinars. We’ll start by discussing home-based businesses and then expand to generating a business plan and becoming credit-ready.

Are you ready to jumpstart your entrepreneurial dream? Most entrepreneurs start with a home-based business that creates, delivers, or improves on a product or service. In this one-hour introductory and interactive course, join the U.S. Small Business Administration to discuss:

  • Accessing mentoring and training resources

Business Smart Toolkit: Ready, Set & Go

This program is designed for helping new and aspiring entrepreneurs launch a business idea and to understand the steps to building a business that is credit-ready. In this two-module interactive course, join the U.S. Small Business Administration to discuss:

Part 1: Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

  • Basics of business startup 
    • Pitfalls to avoid
    • Talents that drive entrepreneurship
    • Steps to start a business
  • How and Where to find additional small business support and educational resources

Part 2: Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

  • Essentials of becoming credit-ready
  • Various financing options
  • Basic requirements for borrowing money
