Low-Interest Federal Disaster Loans Available for Private Nonprofits in Phillips County


Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the availability of low-interest federal disaster loans for certain private nonprofit organizations in Phillips County. This follows the amendment to President Biden’s Oct. 26 major disaster declaration for Public Assistance, addressing severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding that occurred from July 14 – 21.

SBA Massachusetts District Office Celebrates Strong Fiscal Year-End Performance


Robert H. Nelson, District Director for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Massachusetts District Office, proudly announced the fiscal year-end achievements for Massachusetts. SBA lending in the Commonwealth witnessed a remarkable 11.9% increase in combined 7(a)/504 flagship lending year-over-year, with the total dollar amount rising by 7.5% from $571,612,600 to $614,563,500.
