Seeks Nominations for
Small Business Week 2022

Do you or someone you know have what it takes to become America’s “Small Business Person of the Year” for 2022? If so, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) wants to hear from you.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2022 National Small Business Week (NSBW) Awards. The NSBW Awards recognize the achievements of SBA-assisted small businesses and the contributions they have made to their communities and our nation’s economy.

Visit SBA’s dedicated website www.sba.gov/nsbw to download forms, criteria, and guidelines for submitting a nomination.

The SBA Awards given in celebration of National and District Small Business Week include the following:

North Dakota District Small Business Week Categories:

  • Small Business Person of the Year (National and District)
  • Small Business Exporter (National and District)

“Small businesses have been resilient in navigating through the pandemic,” said Al Haut, SBA North Dakota District Director. “Small Business Week is an excellent time to recognize a local small business owner for not only success in their business, but for sharing that success with the community. Please let a local business owner know you appreciate them by nominating them for the ND Small Business Person of the Year award.”

All nominations must be received by the North Dakota District Office no later than 2:00 p.m. CST on January 11, 2022, and only by electronic submission to the North Dakota District’s BOX account.
