T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Reimagined program assists small business owners in growing their business, creating jobs, and strengthening their communities. This innovative program is an intense 6-month course that includes in-person, self-paced, instruction, mentoring, and class room time. Providing small businesses the opportunity to work with experienced professionals at no financial cost.

Target your business for expansion

T.H.R.I.V.E. Emerging Leaders Reimagined training is specifically designed to accelerate growth and support the expansion of your business. The program provides participants with the opportunity to work with a network of experienced subject matter experts in core business topics and other micro-sessions customized for the small business’s unique needs. The reimagined format removes the one size fits all model in exchange for engagement, problem-solving, and peer-to-peer interaction within the cohorts. Additionally, the new format promotes an eco-system of business connections among business peers, government leaders, and the financial community. 

Qualifications:

The Emerging Leaders Initiative is open to small business owners and executives that:

• Have been in business for at least 3 years.

• Have annual revenues of at least $250,000.

Maine Small Business Awards Ceremony

When: Wednesday, May 25th, 4:00pm-6:00pm

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) helps power the American dream of business ownership. The annual SBA awards are an opportunity to recognize the amazing work being done by Maine’s small businesses.

Join us to celebrate this year’s inspiring winners. You’ll hear from the small businesses about what motivates them, and who has helped them grow. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with entrepreneurs, SBA Resource Partners, lenders, and other members of our small business community.

There will be heavy appetizers and a cash bar.

This event is made possible through the generous support of Gorham Savings Bank, Granite State Development Corporation, and the CEI Women’s Business Center.

We will recognize the following businesses at this year’s awards ceremony.

COVID. The event will held inside a large conference room with state-of-the-art ozone-free needlepoint bipolar ionization systems that inactivate mold, bacteria, and viruses as well as collect dust and pollen. The conference room will open to an outside, open-air tent with views of the ceremony, as well as outdoor speakers. We will follow CDC guidance at the time of the event with regards to masking.

SBA Maine Office Hours

Members of the SBA Maine District Office staff will be holding office hours with Chambers of Commerce and Town Offices around the state. During these hours, the SBA staff will be available to answer questions you may have, provide guidance on SBA programs, and give you a better sense of what resources are available to help you start or grow a local small business.
