Please join us for the joint Small Business Administration (SBA) and California Capital Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Government Contracting Assistance & Networking (GCAN) Meeting. The GCAN Meeting is open to the government contracting community. Its objective is to promote government and prime contracting resources, education, teaming opportunities, and networking.

*The Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is the only nonprofit professional engineering education organization that actively promotes the advancement of both individual technical knowledge and the collective engineering capabilities of governments, the uniformed services and private industry. Their goal is to unite public and private sector entities and individuals in the A/E/C fields so that they can prepare for and overcome natural and manmade disasters, acts of terrorism and improve security at home and abroad.

This workshop will be held in a federal facility. Attendees will be required to go through a security checkpoint similar to the airport. Shoes, belts, etc. must be removed before going through the scanner. Please leave your bags in your vehicle if possible and have a valid driver’s license or U.S. passport out and ready to present to the security guard.

About this Event
Learn about government tax agency services, online resources, tax filing updates, and small business financing programs. The event will include presentations from the following organizations:
- California Capital Women’s Business Center
- California Department of Tax and Fee Administration
- California Employment Development Department
- California Franchise Tax Board
- U.S. Internal Revenue Service
- U.S. Small Business Administration
- U.S. Social Security Administration
Light refreshments will be provided by the California Capital Women's Business Center.
