Details: In this session, meet local SBA & MA LGBT Chamber staff and learn about inclusive entrepreneurship programs and services available to help grow your business.
Information will be provided about LGBTBE CERTIFICATION
Becoming certified as a LGBT Business Enterprise designates your business as majority-owned, operated, and controlled by LGBT individuals. The advantages of receiving this national certification include:
- Differentiating your business from competitors during procurement processes
- Gaining access to major corporations and entities seeking to diversify their supply chain
- Opportunities for networking with other LGBT business owners
- Eligibility for scholarship programs, mentorship and leadership training, and other business development tools to help your business grow

Counseling/Technical Assistance: Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, Center for Women & Enterprise, City & State Economic Development Offices
Access to Capital: SBA 7(A) Loan Guaranty Program, SBA 504 Loan, Microlending, Disaster Loans, STEP Grants, SBIR / SBIC
Government Contract Opportunities: 8(A) Business Development Program / HUB Zone Program / Disadvantaged Business, Woman-owned, Service-disabled Veteran Self-Certifications / Subcontracting
