SBA’s Wisconsin team is grateful for the chance to serve Wisconsin’s small businesses now and all year long. Your presence and your hard work make Wisconsin’s communities more vital and benefit the lives of Badger State residents in so many ways. The pandemic
put
many more small business owners, and other organizations that serve them, in touch with SBA for disaster relief. SBA and its network of partners can also help your business navigate many other challenges and opportunities, whether it’s funding, exporting,
getting advice or gaining expertise for a launch, expansion, or business sale, or generating new revenue streams with federal contracting. We’re here to help you start, grow, and expand as well as recover. You can start with SBA’s team or reach out to a
local SBA partner–we’re all connected. Best wishes for a happy Thansgiving and the holiday season.
This holiday season, in an effort to support small businesses – engines of our economy, from manufacturing to e-commerce, to Mom-and-Pop shops and restaurants on Main Street – the SBA, along with American Express, is encouraging Wisconsin consumers to Shop
Small® with their local businesses. Last year, total reported projected spending among U.S. consumers who shopped at independent retailers and restaurants on Small Business Saturday reached an estimated $19.8 billion.
SBA’s Wisconsin District Director Eric Ness adds these tips for shopping small supporting your local small businesses–including Wisconsin’s 94,000+ retailers, food service, accommondation, and arts businesses that employ more than 313,000 people and add so
much to the vitality and prosperity of Wisconsin’s families and communities:
Your local business owners and neighbors will thank you for your patronage and for helping them to stay in business. And for those facing challenges, the
SBA Wisconsin team and
SBA’s network of partners around the state are here year-round to help business owners start, grow, and expand as they navigate the holiday season and beyond.
Join the SBA on November 30, 2021 for an online panel discussion with Native American business owners who will share their small business stories, how they pivoted during the pandemic, and the SBA resources they used to start and grow their businesses.
