Next stop was a visit to the country’s oldest family farm dating back to the 1600’s,
Emery Farm in Durham, to learn about the impact of assistance the business received from the SBA and NH SBDC.
The Emery Farm market was stocked with all the essentials and farm fresh foods. We enjoyed lunch at the café and got to sample the house favorite ‘cider donuts’. There is a petting barn, a fruit farm, greenhouse and a vegetable garden. They
offer seasonal activities such as blueberry picking and have educational tours for school aged children. Holly Philbrick along with her employees are committed to providing the best quality products sourced as local to Durham, NH as possible.

of Maine and their Phase I SBIR award as well as the process to obtain a Phase II award with the assistance of SBDC advisor Ed Miles.
