Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI 48045, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary for the Construction of VGLZ 242006 Replace Sectio of MV Feeder 1 from SW1-6 to SW1-12 
The primary tasks of subject project are to remove, demolish and dispose of medium voltage cables and install new 133% EPR insulation level medium voltage copper cables (5/15 kV) 500 KCMIL copper cables (3) with #4/0 copper ground conductor from SW1-6 to SW1-12 using existing duct banks.  The contractor shall also properly tag and fireproof their work as needed.  The old cables are very old and contain lead and shall be handled and disposed of properly.  The Contractor shall also provide 3rd party testing for all cables, submit report before energizing
