USS HALSEY (DDG 97) FY24 Depot Modernization Period (DMP)

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue, on a sole source basis, a Request for Proposal (RFP) and award of a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract to BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair (BAE) under solicitation N00024-24-R-4423 for the execution of the USS HALSEY (DDG 97) FY24 and FY28 Depot Modernization Period (DMP) availabilities.  A synopsis of solicitation N00024-24-R-4423 was previously published as competitive procurement. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue solicitation N00024-23-R-4423 for the execution of the USS HALSEY (DDG 97) FY24 Depot Modernization Period (DMP) availability.  Upon a contractor’s completion of this Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Availability, the ship shall be capable of carrying out its respective mission with a reasonable expectation of maintaining a satisfactory condition of readiness until the next CNO-scheduled depot Availability. 

USS HALSEY (DDG 97) FY24 DMP will be approximately 22 months, beginning in September 2024 and completing in November 2026.
