USNS ROBERT E. SIMANEK (ESB 7) Lay Berth and Ship Repair. To enhance the vessel?s maintenance status, the vessel will enter a long-term lay berth, maintenance, and overhaul period. The contractor shall provide facilities, services, labor and materials to provide berthing, preventive maintenance industrial assistance, planning, material procurement and execution of a maintenance and repair availability as detailed herein.
