Submarine Voltage Regulator Obsolescence

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Purchase Order to Basler Electric Co, Highland, Illinois for engineering and technical services for six (6) submarine voltage regulator assemblies and their associated subcomponents.  The Government intends to make an award prior to the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2025. 

Pursuant to 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), Basler Electric Co is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling the Navy’s requirements for the specified effort.  The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate ....
