The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory requests a proposal for design, manufacture, testing, and installation support of a new SAXS Flight Tube to be installed within the Advanced Light Source beamline 12.3.1 experimental hutch. It is intended to house a vacuum compatible detector and to translate it along the X, Y and Z directions within vacuum. The Flight Tube will be approximately 4 meters in length and 1 meter in diameter, however the final dimensions shall be proposed by the successful offeror based on optimal use of the available space.
