Synopsis | ||
The contract is for the Parasitology area, for malaria and leish activities in Amazonas region in Peru. The requirement is for a 6 month period. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide Services in support of tropical infectious disease surveillance in endemic regions of Amazonas. This study directly addresses the Febrile and Vector Borne Infections (FVBI) focus area of the Global Emerging Infections Surveillance and Response Branch (GEIS) by increasing surveillance activities in endemic countries in South America, monitoring the emergence of resistance and perform advanced pathogen characterization.
