Saylorville Control Tower Sluice Gate Project

The work includes but is not limited to replace the main lifting mechanisms of the 4 gates along with fabrication and installation of 4 new gates. Major components to be replaced include wire rope, sheaves, sheave, bushings, sheave shafts and replacing the pillow block bearings. Minor components associated with these items are also replaced as required. The gear reducer is rehabbed by replacing seals, bearings, and gearbox fluid. The wire rope drum is cleaned and reused, and the motor is reused.
