S206--FY26: Bridge-Short Term Unarmed Security Guard

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, has determined that it is in the best interests of the government to award a short-term bridge contract to the incumbent contractor to avoid a lapse in service resulting from a delay in the procurement process for the long-term competitive follow-on contract. The latest contract, awarded in May 2021 (awarded on a competitive basis) expired on April 30, 2026. A new competitive acquisition is currently in the pre-solicitation process. This short-term procurement is for Unarmed Security Guard Services at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) facilities through PR and the USVI.
