RFI - Ultrasonic Impact Treatment and Hammer Peening of HY-100 Weldments

THIS SOURCES SOUGHT is being issued by the Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD). NSWCCD is seeking potential sources to design, build, test, document, and deliver Ultrasonic Impact Treatment and Hammer Peening of HY-100 Weldments. 

NSWCCD intends to issue a solicitation/synopsis in the upcoming months to meet mission requirements.  Prior to issuing a solicitation/synopsis, NSWCCD is requesting information only in determining the interest in submitting quotes on this proposed solicitation/synopsis in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy.  A copy of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached.
