Research and Development for Satellite Software and Operations Support

A cost-plus-fixed-fee IDIQ contract was competitively awarded to Space Ground System Solutions Inc. for R&D efforts for Satellite Software and Operations Support. The total ceiling value is $245,000,000. A second initial task order was awarded for one 12-month base period and four 12-month options.The base period task order value is $29,307,694.26. The task order total if all options are exercised is $191,425,544.17. The contract is not fixed price and was awarded on a cost type basis due to the advanced research and development nature of the requirement.
