Repair Vehicle Barriers Gate 2

Replace existing Active Vehicle Barriers (AVBs) system at Gate 2. New AVBs shall be relocate further away from the Traffic Check House, B345, to give Security Forces personnel a minimum of 9 seconds response time. Install vehicle sensors to support AVBs operation such as safety loops. Rewire associated electrical power and control circuit to B345. Repave the road with reinforced barrier curbs to prevent vehicles from circumventing the AVBs. Provide AVBs with storm water drains. Relocate traffic warning signs to the new AVBs location.
