Repair and Technical Support of Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) system

The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notice of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic?s intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to Northern Defense Industries (NDI) for the repair and support the Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) system manufactured by NDI. The Government intends to negotiate solely with NDI under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). NDI, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), possesses the unique technical expertise, proprietary knowledge, and specialized tooling necessary to diagnose and repair their existing system.
