Renovation of the Challenger Dorms

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District intends to issue a full and open unrestricted Design-Bid-Build (DBB) solicitation for a single Firm Fixed-Price, construction contract for the renovation of the Challenger Dorms at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri.The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Site grading and drainage (for storm water management); structural brick work and lentil repair; new metal gutters/downspouts tied into storm drainage system; complete replacement of interior lighting systems with fixtures using LED light source; replacement of interior/exterior doors and windows; new floor/ceiling/wall finishes; replacement of all plumbing fixtures, pipes, stacks ....
