The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Geriatrics and Extended Care (GEC) Program Office has a requirement for conducting surveys at State Veterans Homes (SVH) to be performed from an independent survey company/contractor. The contractor shall align and follow the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) survey process.
