Procurement of Obsolescence Redesign Weapons Display (ORWD)

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Melbourne, Florida, is awarded a $13,602,043 modification (P00119) to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N0001918C1037). This modification adds scope for the production and delivery of 94 Obsolescence Redesign Weapons Displays in support of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. 

Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source order to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Melbourne, Florida (FL) under a previously issued contract (N0001918C1037) for Obsolescence Redesign Weapons Display (ORWDs). 

NGSC is the only company that has the ability, resources, technology and documentation necessary to develop, produce, maintain, and support this system without causing unacceptable delays in meeting the Navy's operation requirements.
