The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Thermo Electron North America LLC for ThermoScientific EasySpray Source Kit (Item #ES081). This is a sole source order because Thermo Electron North America is the only manufaturer of the EasySpray which is the only product compatible with Thermo Scientific Qexactive series mass spectrometeres currently used in CDC labratories..
