Notice of Intent to Award to Sole Source - FSE On-Site Annual Preventative Maintenance

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to CEPHEID.

This contract action is being conducted in accordance with FAR Overhaul Part 12.102, Restricting Competition. The Government determined that only one source is reasonably available to meet the current requirement based on the proprietary nature of the existing system configuration, compatibility requirements, and continuity of ongoing operations.
