Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract - ESRI

The US Army intends to award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Enterprise Contract to Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (Esri). This action is pursued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, as Esri is the developer and sole proprietor of the ArcGIS software, which is the established GIS standard for the Department of War (DoW) and is critical for mission interoperability.

The requirement is to establish an Enterprise Contract which will be available for ordering by the US Army and DoW for the full suite of Esri Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software licenses, professional services, and support for U.S. Army and DoW geospatial operations.

This notice is for informational purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this action is solely at the discretion of the Government.
