Notice of Award - Cottonwood Succeeding Lease

The Department of Veterans Affairs awarded a succeeding lease for 9,500 RSF, yeilding 7,000 ABOA SF, and 35 parking spaces. The succeeding lease was awarded to the incumbant lessor persuant to simplified lease acquisition procedures under GSAR 570.402-1(a) and 570.203-2. A cost-benefit analysis determined that the Government could not expect to recover relocation and uplication costs through competition. The Lease Contracting Officer determined the rental rate to be fair an reasonable to the Government.
