Non-hazardous Polyethlyne and Rubber Removal

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is a naval industrial facility that generates various non-hazardous wastes in the process of altering, repairing and maintaining the U.S. Navy?s vessels and facility buildings/structures. Although these wastes generated are not regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as hazardous waste, they do require proper management (i.e., processing, handling and disposal) to ensure that PHNSY & IMF is in compliance with all federal, state and local environmental rules and regulations.
