PROJECT NUMBER: NM FS 220(1) PROJECT NAME: Romero Creek Bridge PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is located in the Gila National Forest in western-central New Mexico. The terrain is rolling and mountainous with elevations ranging up to 8300 ft. The Romero Creek Bridge deck has large areas (approximately 60%) of delamination that are deep (2” to 10”). The most recent bridge inspection results indicate the structural evaluation of the bridge to be in poor to serious condition.
