The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Woodward, Inc., 1041 Woodward Way, Fort Collins, CO 80524-3468. This requirement is for the Next Generation Full Authority Digital Control (FADC) aboard DDG-51 class ships. The acquisition will fill a need for an improved Ship Service Gas Turbine Generator Full Authority Digital Control (SSGTG FADC). The SSGTG FADC contains the gas turbine controller and accessory equipment required to control the SSGTG and output electrical power to the ship’s electric plant.
