This notice is being published as required by FAR 5.201(b)(1). Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed price contract for Jet Blast Deflector (JBD) cooling panels to support the CVN 75 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) upgrades in support of the Nimitz Class Launcher Program. The Contractor shall manufacture the JBVD panels in accordance with Government drawings. The required JBP panels are Critical Application Items (CAIs) and therefore it is the Navy's intent to award to sole vendors currently qualified to provide these CAIs:
