The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, intends to issue a request for quotes to convert two buildings from propane to natural gas and to extend an existing natural gas fuel line to another building for future conversion. The project is located on the USDA campus in Ames, IA. Work includes installing new 1-inch HDPE natural gas fuel lines. New fuel lines to be connected and supplied from an existing 2-inch HDPE, 30 psig fuel line.
