The Marine Design Center (MDC) of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has issued this
Invitation for Bid (IFB) to acquire four new welded steel revetment barges. The barges’ primary
mission will be to support the Mat Sinking Unit and the Vicksburg District’s existing fleet of
revetment barges. The barges will accommodate two rows of mat stacks, 23 on the bottom and 22
