M88A2 Magnetic Clutch Repair Sources Sought

ACC-DTA proposes to award a new, five-year Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) IDIDQ contract comprised of five ordering years in support of Tank Automotive Armaments Command (TACOM) Integrated Logistics Support Center (ILSC) to The Carlyle Johnson Machine Company (Carlyle Johnson) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) 75182,  for repair of  National Stock Number (NSN) 2520-01-480-7818, Clutch, Magnetic, Vehicular (Power Take-off (PTO) Clutch Assembly).  Army Working Capital Funds (AWCF) will be used for this procurement.

The NSN 2520-01-480-7818, manufacturer / United States Government (USG) Part Number PTO095099900028 / 12364852, PTO Clutch Assembly, is used on the M88A2.  The deliverables for this contract are repair of an estimated minimum quantity of 15 and a maximum quantity of up to 267 units over a five-year period.  The services performed under this effort include teardown, inspection, and repair of each PTO Clutch Assembly.

Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to AM General, LLC, South Bend, Indiana for High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Expanded Capacity Vehicles (ECVs) that comply with Automotive Tank Purchase Description 2099. The RFP (Contract W56HZV-17-D-0071, Modification P00068) will be sole source in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements."
