*** ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 28, 2026 *** 1. Status Update: The Government continues to actively prepare the LPD 17 Ship Control System (SCS) solicitation. The formal Request for Proposal (RFP) is currently targeted for release in late Fall 2026 (anticipated October/November timeframe). 2. Solicitation Number Change: Due to the updated release schedule falling in FY2027, the solicitation number is changed from N00024-26-R-4444 to N00024-27-R-4444. 3. Contract Type Clarification: The resulting contract is anticipated to be a hybrid Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type.
