LAKE MONTAUK HARBOR (LMH)

The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (District) is preparing plans and specifications for construction of the Lake Montauk Harbor Navigation Improvement Project, Town of East Hampton, CAP Section 107 Navigation Improvement Project.

DESCRIPTION: The project involves deepening the existing federally authorized navigation channel at Lake Montauk Harbor, New York. The channel depth will be increased from -12 feet MLLW to -17 feet MLLW. In addition, a deposition basin approximately 100 feet wide will be constructed immediately east of the channel.
