KMRD Hyder Seasonal Housing Facility This is a non-personal services contract to provide a housing facility for the Forest Service Ketchikan-Misty Fjords Ranger District (KMRD), Tongass National Forest (TNF), Alaska. Background and Purpose: KMRD owns and operates the Fish Creek Wildlife Observation Site in Hyder, Alaska. Hyder is a remote Southeast Alaska community with approximately 50–100 residents, located about 75 air miles from Ketchikan, Alaska, and 2 miles from Stewart, British Columbia.
