Highway Infrastructure Engineering and Research Data Services (HIERD)

This is a non-personal services contract to provide Highway Infrastructure Engineering Research
Services. All work under this contract shall be performed through the issuance of specific task
orders. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract or task
order service providers performing the services herein. Such service providers shall be
accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government as defined in
this Statement of Work (SOW).

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for non-personal engineering and technical services to support research activities of FHWA’s Office of Infrastructure Research and Development located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, Virginia. The Office of Infrastructure Research and Development (HRDI) conducts and oversees research and development programs and projects that address critical highway infrastructure needs and priorities of national importance.
