Hickman Borings Drilling and Testing

The objective of this contract is to recover intact samples of a cemented sand and gravel material located at the bottom of the Mississippi River near the town of Hickman, KY. Historical borings in the area have penetrated the cemented sand and gravel, but the resulting samples were too disturbed to provide specimens for unconfined compressivestrength tests.
