Grand Haven North Pier Wave Attenuator

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is being solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. Marine construction will involve demolition and removal of approximately 224-324 ft of Section B of the existing north pier SSP and timber cribbing structure and replacement with a stone revetment which will act as a wave attenuator. Handrails may be installed along walkway as an option. An H-pile supported concrete walkway will be integrated into a rubble mound wave attenuator 16 feet north of the existing pier structure to connect the adjacent portions of the pier that will remain in-tact. The new walkway will be offset away from the channel to ensure that the new stone revetment will not protrude into the channel.
