Food Service Equipment for New DFAC on Ft Jackson

The Government requires ninety-three (93) commercial kitchen and dining facility equipment line items to support the operational readiness of the new Fort Jackson DFAC. The requirement spans thirty-two (32) categories, including major equipment (ice machines, steam kettles), material-handling items, cookware, prep tools, processing equipment, dinnerware, and flatware. The requiring activity used brand-name-or-equal descriptions solely to document the salient characteristics of the items needed and relied on offerors to ensure all quoted items complied with statutory RFO DFARS 252.225-7965 (Berry Amendment – Dinnerware and Stainless-Steel Flatware) requirements.
