The Memphis District USACE has a requirement to have barges filled with an expanding marine floatation foam. The aging barges are located at Ensley Engineering Yard (EEY) in Memphis, TN. The 6601 barge is 30 feet wide, 130 feet long, and has a 6-foot maximum draft. The 6602 barge carries the same width and draft but is only 100 feet in length.
