The purpose of this requirement is to procure National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)-compliant structural firefighting personal protective equipment (PPE) for Drill Status Guardsmen (DSG) assigned to the 105th Fire and Emergency Services Flight. The PPE will provide personnel with properly fitted, mission-ready protective ensembles required to safely perform structural firefighting, aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), rescue operations, emergency response, training activities, and contingency operations in accordance with applicable Department of the Air Force, National Guard Bureau, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and NFPA standards.
