Energy Intensive Industries (EII) Initiative Subject Matter Experts for Industrial Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance (IEETA) The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Industrial Technologies Office (ITO) is conducting an effort to help Energy Intensive Industries (EII) - Chemicals (including refining), Pulp and Paper, Food & Beverages, Iron & Steel, Non-Ferrous metals and Non-metallic minerals. These EII sectors offer significant potential to save energy and reduce operating cost. ITO would like to identify opportunities in areas such as energy efficiency, process / utility integration, water efficiency waste reduction and provide technical assistance to EII plants. |
