Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) Depot Standup Phase II

The Naval Air Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Firm Fixed Price order (N0001925F0029) to General Atomics, San Diego, CA, under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (N0001921G0014), for support equipment, logistics support and Technical Data Package (TDP) in support of the Depot Stand-Up Phase II for the EMALS Ford Class. Work will be completed in San Diego CA (96.4%), Tupelo MS (2%), various locations within the continental U.S. (1.6%) and is expected to be completed by 30 October 2026.

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Firm-Fixed Price order with options under existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0014 sole source to General Atomics, San Diego, CA, for depot repair and overhaul capability for Ford Class carriers for the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS).  The efforts will entail depot level logistics support, products, and test benches, to include all required test fixtures, test stands, Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), Common Support Equipment (CSE), software, and tools, as part of the test configuration logistics product updates as it directly correlates to Depot Stand Up for the EMALS ....
