Deschutes NF, Site Preparation - Mowing and Road Brushing

Firm-Fixed-Price award issued for mastication of multiple acres of brush to make way for reforestation efforts within the coming years. Most of the project area consists of brush that can be mulched by most industrial mowing implements. For the purposes of this contract the terms “mow” and “mastication” are used interchangeably.  Brush out Roads and ditch per specifications to improve driving conditions and reach units with ease.

Amendment 1: Statement of Work, revise or clarify Equipment Specifications: (See Amended Statement of Work in the Attachments/Links section)
4(a) Excavator Required: Min 100 HP & 30,000 lbs. with forestry grousers (removes Type 2, minimum 111 HP) with operator.
4(b): Mower/mastication head. Clarification: Strip mowers or skid steer with tracks and mower head will not accepted. 

Sign Amendment #1 pdf, then return a signed copy with your response to the quote package (described below). Quote due date and time remains the same.
