Synopsis

The government is seeking log removal services to support aircraft safety requirements, outlined in Department of the Air Force Instruction (DAFI) 91-212, on Selfridge ANGB, MI. Selfridge ANGB has log piles from previous tree cuttings that have become environmental and safety hazards. These piles not only create visual blight but have also become habitats for various local species, posing a Bird/Wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) concern near the airfield.
