Coronado National Forest HVAC Replacement

The United States Forest Service (USFS) is seeking quotations for the supply and installation of two (2) HVAC systems with an optional one (1) HVAC system in the Coronado National Forest in Arizona. The USFS intends to conduct this acquisition by use of simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. A single contract award will be made to the offeror that submits a quotation that has been determined to represent the best value to the Government based on as assessment of (1) Technical Capability, (2) Past Performance, and (3) Price. This allows the Government to accept other than the lowest priced quote. The Government may perform a comparative evaluation (comparing offers to each other) to select the contractor that provides the best value, considering the evaluation factors in this solicitation.

Description of Work

The Santa Catalina Ranger District Office and the Sabino Canyon Visitor’s Center of the Coronado National Forest is comprised of four (4) modular buildings which make up the District Offices and a Visitors Center building. The current climate control system for two (2) of the modular buildings is comprised of a packaged HVAC unit on one (1) end of each of the buildings.
