This solicitation is the Step-One which is a request for technical proposals only. The technical drawings and specifications for Step-One are approximately 95%complete and not considered final or for construction.
Submitted technical proposals in response to this solicitation shall not include prices or pricing information. Bid bonds are not required to be submitted with the Step-One technical proposal. Bid bonds will be required to be submitted with the Step Two bid submission.

On or about 17 June 2025, this office will issue an Two Step Invitation For Bids (IFB) for the  Construct Tool and Die Facility Iowa Army Ammunition Plant.  This IFB is not restricted to any socio-economic category. Construct Tool and Die Facility Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Middletown Iowa.

Renovate an existing tool and die facility along with plastics lab and processing areas. The project includes renovation of the existing facility as well as adding an additional 56,000 SF industrial facility. The project includes moving old equipment from the existing facility and moving it into the new facility. The contractor will be required to subcontract with the local power company for installation of parking lot lighting.
