Employees of USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Veterinary Services, Cattle Fever Tick Eradication Program (CFTEP) monitor the southern border of Texas, capturing stray livestock and maintaining a Permanent Quarantine Zone (PQZ) for control of the cattle fever tick from Mexico.
